Ursula Gibson, She is a Fellow and current vicepresident of the OSA

Professor at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway.

 

 

 

Her research interests are in nanotechnology and the development of optical materials for optoelectronics and mid-infrared lasers. Besides, prof. Gibson received her Ph.D. from Cornell University.

 


 

 

William Rhodes, He is a Fellow of the SPIE.

He is a professor emeritus of Georgia Tech in Atlanta, USA.

His research interests are image formation, partially coherent optical systems, information processing, securecommunication thecnology. Besides, prof. Rhodes received his Ph. D. from Stanford University in electronical engineering.

 


 

 

Luis Orozco, He is a Fellow of the OSA.

Professor at The University of Maryland, USA.

 

 

His research interests are in quantum optics, precision spectroscopy and fundamental symmetries.  Besides, prof. Orozco received an honorary doctorate from INAOE (México), apart from his first Ph. D. degree in The University of Texas.

 


 

 

Philip Russell,  He is a Fellow of the Optical Society and former president (2014).

Director of the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light in Erlangen, Germany.

 

 

His research interests are in nolinear optics, photonics and new materials. Besides, prof. Russell received his Ph. D. from University of Oxford.

 


 

 

 

José Sasián, He is a Fellow of SPIE.

Professor at he University of Arizona, USA.

His research interests are in the optical design lab, novel methods for aberration correction, illumination optics, aspheric surfaces, optical testing methods and modeling, optics for lithography, microscope design, and modeling of light propagation in optical systems. Besides, prof. Sasián received his Ph.D. and master from The University of Arizona.

 


 

 

 

Carlos Viviescas,

Professor at Universidad Nacional de Colombia – Sede Bogotá.

 

 

His research interests are dynamics of entanglement, random lasers, semi classical methods in phase space and quantum optics. Besides, prof. Viviescas did his Ph.D. at University of Duisburg-Essen.
